Produced tires of all kinds until 1956, whereupon the company changed its name to BTR industries. In 1985 BTR acquired Dunlop Aviation Division from Dunlop Rubber Co. to form BTR Aerospace Group. In 1999 BTR merged with Siebe to become BTR Siebe. The name was later changed to Invensys. In 2014 Invensys was taken over by French multinational Schneider Electric.
